Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join a state-operated hospital in Indiana. In this role, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver high-quality care, implement treatment plans, and lead therapeutic activities. You’ll play a vital part in supporting patients’ recovery and fostering greater independence in daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and adjust treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
  • Lead therapy sessions (individual and group) and assess patient progress
  • Provide training to patients, families, and support staff
  • Supervise non-professional personnel as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program
  • Licensure: Valid Indiana OTA license and COTA certification
  • Experience: Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with therapy documentation, EHR systems, and patient care protocols
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
