Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood educator ready to lead curriculum implementation and teacher development? We're seeking a Curriculum Coordinator who will champion educational excellence, mentor teachers, and ensure our curriculum comes to life in every classroom!
About the Role:
As the Curriculum Coordinator, you will oversee the educational quality and curriculum fidelity across all age groups-from infants to Pre-K. You'll play a critical role in coaching teachers, implementing The Learning Experience curriculum, and maintaining compliance with both state and TLE health, safety, and learning standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and ensure consistent use of The Learning Experience curriculum, including:
Lesson plans
Circle time activities
Leap Interactive Boards
Workbooks & Journals
Enrichment kits
Phonics, Sign Language, and Spanish
Know Me Books, Chatter Box, and more
Understanding and Utilizing TLE Characters in Curriculum.
Ensure teachers effectively understand and utilize the Playground Manual to ensure safe and engaging outdoor activities.
Train staff on and support the implementation of the Make Believe Boulevard Manual to maximize experiential learning opportunities.
Train teachers on state and TLE health & safety guidelines
Coach and support teachers in preparing for parent-teacher conferences
Oversee child portfolio development with documentation of learning (photos, work samples, assessments)
Conduct regular child assessments and ensure proper recording in child files
Assist teachers in planning developmentally appropriate lessons and classroom environments
Observe classrooms regularly and provide feedback to support instructional quality
Coordinate and lead professional development sessions
Help onboard new teaching staff with curriculum and classroom routines
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of classroom experience, with at least 3 years as a Lead Teacher.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
In-depth understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and early learning standards.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills.
Able to communicate with parents effectively.
Ability to train and motivate a team of teachers while promoting a positive culture.
Experience with lesson planning tools, classroom technology (Leap Boards), and educational documentation.
CPR and first AID, drug test, TB Test, and state certifications.
Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors.
Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, lead follow-up etc.
