Early Childhood Education Teacher Assistant

Pay Rate: $17.87/hourHours: Varies based off school; Anytime between 7am-5pm🎓 What You’ll DoAs a Teacher Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the learning experience for students ages 3–12. Under the guidance of a classroom teacher and supervision of the principal, you’ll help students build grade-level skills through personalized support and engaging activities.Your role will include:

     Supporting individual students or small groups to reinforce classroom lessonsGuiding independent study, enrichment, or remedial activities

     Assisting with grading and preparing classroom materialsHelping lead group activities and school-wide events

     Preparing supplies and instructional tools for daily learningSupervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special events

     Participating in professional development to grow your skillsPitching in with other duties as needed🎒 What You BringSkills & Strengths:

     Experience working with young children (ages 3–12)Familiarity with educational settings or tutoring (preferred)

     Basic computer skillsEducation Requirements (must meet one of the following):At least 60 college credit hours

     Associate’s degree or higherPassing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment

     Completion of Missouri’s online Substitute Training Program

•  Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate
