Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, steady, and team-oriented Individual Assistant in Lund’s Early Childhood Program (LECP). Our Early Childhood Program, rated 5-STAR, provides exceptional care and education for children aged six weeks through Pre-K. The Individual Assistant will be a key part of creating an environment where a child with special needs can fully participate and thrive—while also contributing to a caring, trauma-informed classroom for all children.Specifically, this team member will provide individualized support tailored to developmental needs, always centering the child’s dignity, safety, and well-being. The day-to-day can look like guiding positive interactions, maintaining continuous supervision of children, and helping to shape a classroom environment that is clean, healthy, and nurturing.If you are someone who believes deeply in inclusive education, understands the power of trauma-informed practice, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, we invite you to consider joining us. - Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Associate’s degree in early childhood (or related field) and/or one year of experience working with young children is preferred.
