Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery of urology services by preparing equipment, assisting in patient preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Functions
Assist urologists and healthcare teams in providing direct patient care during urology procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, which may include positioning, draping, and
providing emotional support.
- Set up and prepare urology equipment and instruments required for
procedures.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean, sterilized, and in proper working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on equipment as required.
- Adhere to strict sterile techniques and infection control protocols during
urology procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing
instruments, preparing sterile trays, and ensuring proper disposal of
contaminated items.
- Follow established infection control policies and procedures to prevent the
spread of infections.

Urology Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of urology procedures, instruments, and equipment commonly used in urology practices.
- Understanding of sterile techniques, infection control practices, and patient safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and demonstrate empathy towards patients.
