Job Description

Job Summary: The Process Engineering Chemist I is responsible for performing a range of duties. You will play a crucial part in optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role requires a blend of technical skills and innovative thinking, as you will work closely with engineers to implement improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all procedures comply with industry standards.

Location: Onsite Torrance, California

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00

Responsibilities:

  • Making lab batches /validations
  • Assist in the development of manufacturing processes.
  • Preparing project raw material/ and inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance data.
  • Support the implementation of new production equipment and technologies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of process control systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of process-related reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiar with regulatory standards such as ISO, GMP, or FDA.

Preferred Skills:

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Platforms Microsoft Teams & Monday.com.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull for extended periods during shifts.
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
