Job Description
The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Outpatient Clinic in Greenfield, MA. This is a unique and exciting position for a medical assistant who wants to make a positive impact to the population served.
Your role as a Medical Assistant:
The Medical Assistant is an integral part of the client’s service team and within the Greenfield Outpatient Clinic team. You will have the ability to âuse an electronic medical record for chart review and telehealth appointments, develop supportive relationships with clients, interact with clients in order to assess needs, obtain vital signs, complete PAs, coordination of medical and psychiatric care with clients’ support network ( e.g. family members, other service providers), active collaboration with other agencies to coordinate client treatment, liaison with local pharmacies to fill prescriptions for clients’ medications, and prepare lab requests and obtain results.
Requirments:
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience working in Behavioral/Mental health setting preferred.
- Medication Administration (MAP) Certifications preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certificate, preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check

Pay rate is $20.00/hr., and take advantage of our phenomenal benefits package that includes, Dental, Health and Life insurance. Paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays just to name a few.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. Friday is remote work.
