Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation our center. As a Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the physical condition of our childcare center. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities.
What Will You Do?
- Routine Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC system maintenance, and general repairs to ensure safety and comfort.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment, including playground equipment, appliances, and classroom materials, to meet safety standards consistently.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies promptly to minimize disruptions to childcare center operations.
- Outdoor Building Care: Perform pressure washing, mulching, and general maintenance of outdoor buildings to keep them clean and presentable.
- Communication: Collaborate with childcare center staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and communicate any planned disruptions in advance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Age: Be a minimum of 21 years old.
- Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Experience: 2-3 years working in professional maintenance or janitorial capacity.
- Training Requirements: Pass a Background Check.
- Shift: Ability to work a rotating shift from 6:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
