Job Description
Envocore is hiring a Construction Manager for our Commercial Irrigation Team!
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Construction Manager to lead commercial irrigation projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery by managing technicians, subcontractors, budgets, and timelines. Your expertise in irrigation systems and construction management will be crucial in delivering outstanding results across various job sites.
Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation: $26–$38/hour (based on experience)
Department: Operations | Reports to: Operations Manager
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Supervise all on-site activities to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure quality construction standards.
- Liaise with clients to report progress and address concerns.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance.
- Monitor inventory, prepare reports, and suggest cost-saving solutions.
- Recommend hiring decisions and mentor site technicians to boost team performance.
- Use project management tools and technical drawings to track and guide construction.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a construction manager or site superintendent, specifically in commercial irrigation.
- Strong technical understanding of irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Experience managing subcontractors, field teams, and project budgets.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using project management software.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and job site safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in construction or related field.
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 30 Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Aerial/Forklift Certification
- Lockout/Tagout Training
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work at heights (up to 30 ft)
- Comfortable working in varied weather conditions and moderate-noise job sites
