Zalkin is seeking a talented Electrical Controls Engineer to be responsible for designing the controls panels and other electrical systems that drive various packaging machines. This will include preparing technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems. Successful candidate will be responsible for design, review and issuance of required electrical schematics that detail power supply, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and accompanying Human Machine Interface (HMI) screen logic.

Who we're looking for?

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a closely related technical field (foreign equivalent accepted).
• 5 years of progressive, post-grad experience as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer.
• 3 years of experience designing or servicing automation equipment used in the packaging industry
• 3 years of experience providing technical engineering and operational support for manufacturing equipment.
