For over 40 years, we have been a leader in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction in the fitness industry.Position Summary: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development from concept through completion, ensuring that designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The role includes maintaining existing products, troubleshooting, and providing technical support. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Engineering.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and embedded control systems for new products.
- Design and layout custom PCBs using electrical CAD software.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers.
- Design/manage Windows/Linux/Android-based software applications for product integration.
- Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, and CE certifications for products.
- Collaborate with vendors to source and validate new components.
- Support the sales department with feedback on product upgrades and options.
- Build test fixtures and interface them with external hardware or PCs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and field service issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital, and embedded control).
- Experience in schematic/PCB design and simulation software.
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded firmware.
- Familiarity with data bus architectures (I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, CAN).
- Experience in HMI programming for PCs (Visual Basic, C#, Java, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and PCBs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
