Position: Solar Electrical Foreman
We are seeking a skilled Solar Electrical Foreman to lead our field team. In this role, you will supervise both electrical and mechanical subcontractors on solar installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step. This is a year-round travel position with opportunities for advancement as we expand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise teams of electrical and mechanical subcontractors on solar projects.
- Interact with clients/property owners to answer questions and address concerns.
- Ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and up to NYSERDA and NEC standards.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Guide electricians on-site with leadership and troubleshooting support.
- Resolve installation issues (equipment malfunctions, errors, material delays).
- Keep detailed daily logs of work progress, safety inspections, and challenges.
- Oversee shipping, storage, and delivery logistics of project materials.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician, preferably in solar or construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of NEC codes, NYSERDA requirements, and OSHA safety protocols.
- Ability to travel for projects year-round.
- A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
