Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager with strong estimating experience for a direct hire opportunity in Raleigh, NCOverview of role:Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on project management expertise with the ability to develop accurate estimates, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.Pay: $95-100KBenefits: This position offers benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 50% of the cost is covered by the employerSchedule: Mon-Fri 7 am to 3;30 pmKey Responsibilities for Electrical Project Manager:
- Manage all phases of commercial electrical projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for commercial electrical projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
- Oversee material procurement, subcontractor management, and resource allocation.
- Monitor financial performance, track job costs, and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical project management.
- Proven experience in electrical estimating, including labor, material, and subcontractor pricing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Valid electrical license or journeyman/master certification a plus.
