Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent for a long term, direct hire role in Winnsboro, SC to oversee Industrial projects including warehouses, water plants and Forestry plantsPay: 38-42/h (DOE) or let us know what you desireWeekly overtime!$130 a day per diem for travel.Company Truck is providedComprehensive employee benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k match, PTO and more!80% travel around South and North CarolinaSchedule: M-F (7 am to 4:30 pm)Key Responsibilities for Industrial Electrical Superintendent:Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on industrial job sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and codesDirect and oversee field crews, including journeymen and apprentices. Provide leadership, mentoring, and accountability for productivity and performanceDevelop and maintain short-term and long-term schedules. Coordinate manpower and resources to align with overall project timelines and milestonesInspect work daily to ensure quality craftsmanship and compliance with company standards, NEC, and applicable safety codesAct as the primary liaison between project management, engineers, and other trade superintendents. Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Project ManagerMaintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, change orders, as-built drawings, and bills of material for project orderingMonitor field productivity, identify inefficiencies, and collaborate with project leadership to control costsOther duties as assignedQualifications for Industrial Electrical Superintendent:
- At least 3 years of superintendent experience with mostly industrial background.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
- Proficiency in software such as Procore and Bluebeam is highly desired
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Valid electrical license or journeyman/master certification a plus.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA70E
