Are you ready to take the lead in ensuring world-class quality in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment? Join our team as a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer – Test Systems, where you’ll own and improve the manufacturing test systems that verify the performance, safety, and reliability of our products.

You’ll focus on critical production areas—Door, Case, Sealed System, and Electrical Assembly—to identify, correct, and prevent nonconforming testing events. How You'll Create Possibilities

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Initiatives

  • Design and implement advanced test methods to enhance capabilities, support new model launches, and improve outgoing quality.

  • Write and analyze test codes for parameters like leak and flow rates, wattage, resistance, Hipot, and Ground Bond testing.

  • Drive continuous improvement projects using the CIB process, rallying cross-functional teams around test system performance goals.

Implement Error Proofing Strategies

  • Deploy Poke-Yoke (error-proofing) methods and develop standard work tools to ensure operator consistency and higher quality yields.

  • Monitor daily test loops for equipment failures, partnering with Process Improvement Engineers and maintenance to resolve issues quickly.

Support and Sustain Factory Excellence

  • Act as the first point of contact for test equipment issues on the production floor.

  • Build strong partnerships with shop operations to react swiftly to inefficiencies.

  • Maintain, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on test equipment, ensuring spare parts and troubleshooting procedures are always in place.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical, CIM – Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Networking, Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical associate degree) or related discipline OR equivalent 5 years’ of demonstrated success in manufacturing quality disciplines
  • 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and supporting manufacturing test equipment in an IT or Quality capacity
  • Experience with manufacturing quality/NPI quality projects and process improvement
  • Experience interpreting data to solve problems, demonstrated skills in statistical analysis
  • Experience with manufacturing quality/ quality improvement projects and/or process improvement in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to work in large cross-functional teams that span multiple organizational levels
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills – will be expected to conduct strong coordination with adjacent shifts and provide report outs (written or verbal) to organizational leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of cross-functional program deliverables and ability to drive decisions based on the overall benefit to the company
  • Experience in the function of basic electrical components
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, influencing others and driving change
  • Computer literate and skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, and Outlook
