Job Description
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and ensure our software meets all quality standards.
- UI/UX Testing: Evaluate user interfaces and user experiences from an EMS perspective, providing feedback to improve usability, accessibility, and intuitive design.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with Designers and Developers to shape user-centered features and contribute to design discussions that enhance the overall experience.
- Problem Solving: Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve QA processes by incorporating industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Reporting: Provide detailed and clear reports on testing outcomes, including bug severity and potential impact, to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Client Focus: Ensure that the final product aligns with client expectations and enhances overall user experience.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate findings clearly across teams and participate in discussions that bridge the gap between real-world EMS workflows and software development goals.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in EMS
- Hands-on experience using EMS software or supporting agency operations—whether you’ve scheduled crews, tracked credentials, managed inventory, or helped implement digital tools, your insight into how EMS agencies run is exactly what we need.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and working with technology
- Detail-oriented mindset and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Postman, Playwright)
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
- Quality assurance certifications
- Experience with UI/UX testing or design collaboration
