Job Description
Position Type: Full Time Location: Norfolk, VA Clearance: SecretAERMOR is seeking an Engineer, Computer II who will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and network infrastructures. This role requires a skilled professional capable of applying advanced principles of computer science and engineering to solve technical challenges and enhance system performance.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Support system integration and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure adherence to established coding standards, cybersecurity policies, and configuration management procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and optimize system performance.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and technical analyses as required.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions for system improvements.
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in software engineering principles and system design methodologies.
- Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, cloud environments, and database management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science.
