Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the configuration of engineering data to include engineering drawings, engineering change orders and Illustrated Part Breakdowns to ensure currency and accuracy.
- Work closely with the customer engineering team in generating engineering drawings and engineering change orders.
- Use computer aided design and engineering software to generate engineering drawings for inclusion in the customer drawing repository and JEDMICS.
- Process engineering change orders and perform updates/modifications to existing engineering drawings.
Requirements
REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- SECRET Clearance or higher
- Minimum 5 years' experience in configuration management with engineering drawings
- Experience utilizing engineering drawing requirements and standards is required
- Associate degree in a technical field is highly encouraged
- SolidWorks AutoCad and ProEngineering experience is highly desired
- Familiarity with DoD Engineering Change process and DoD configuration Control protocol
