Job Description
The Engineering Intern – Test Services is typically a part time/ part year technical position that is assigned to students that are enrolled in an engineering education program. This position is designed to provide entry level experience performing operational/functional testing of wireless transmission systems using RF test and measurement instrumentation, and learning the technical conformity assessment process for wireless products being distributed globally; while also providing the Company with the ability to preview the performance of a potential full time hire. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Cedarburg, WI office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn global conformity assessment requirements for wireless products.
- Operate RF Test and Measurement Instrumentation such as EMC Receivers, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and Vector Singal Generators.
- Gain exposure to good engineering practices when designing for compliance
- Gain exposure to Ezurio products and business processes
- Establish good working relationships with peers and coworkers
- Develop required PC and task related skills
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Responsible attitude and drive to contribute to project teams
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in a technical educational program such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
