We’re looking for a talented and inquisitive engineering intern who’s eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting and learn from experienced professionals.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to engineering projects that make a tangible impact, along with mentorship from a collaborative team that values innovation and curiosity. You’ll gain practical experience in problem-solving, design, and development, while building a strong foundation for your future career in engineering.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the design and development of engineering projects
- Gain hands-on experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, and TOWER software for modeling and analysis
- Support the drafting team in creating detailed technical drawings
- Help in the preparation of construction packages, including plans and specifications
- Participate in the review of fabrication drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Learn and apply industry standards and specifications in project work
- Perform design calculations and assist in the creation of project reports
- Contribute to the design of foundations for various structures
- Assist in the design of structural steel components
- Participate in the analysis of lattice towers and steel poles
- Attend and present at Lunch & Learn sessions and internal presentations
- Work closely with other ASEC Engineers in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Assist in communicating with clients to gather requirements and provide project updates
What You’ll Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Internship pertaining to the Power Delivery Industry is preferred
- Successful Passing of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and Engineer in Training status (EIT) is preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
Salary Range:
At Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual compensation is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate, such as geographic location, skills, and certifications. We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company. The minimum compensation for this position is $22/hr. (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
