Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Manager for Solid Rocket & Air Breathing Propulsion. This person will lead design of solid rocket booster, supersonic inlet, combustor geometry, and integrated rocket/ram jet architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and collaborate with industry partners to leverage the latest technology developments.
- Support static fires, tunnel tests, and flight experiments
- Author technical documentation, test plans, hazard analysis
Requirements
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years experience in SRM or tactical propulsion
- Strong background in internal ballistics, nozzle design, grain geometry
- Experience with MIL-STD safety and explosive handling standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with propellants, ducted rockets, or air-breathers
- Familiar with additive manufacturing of propulsion components
- Prior work on integrated or multi-mode propulsion systems
