Engineering ManagerLocation: Denver, CO 80219Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM, M-FCompensation: $110,000 – 130,000 annually Are you a proven engineering leader who thrives on driving innovation and developing high-performing teams? NOVA Automation, a leader in custom automation systems for packaging and material handling, is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee and grow our talented engineering department.What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical, electrical, and applications engineers.
- Oversee design and documentation of custom automation systems including bagging, palletizing, and wrapping equipment.
- Ensure projects meet customer requirements, quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
- Review CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation to maintain engineering excellence.
- Manage engineering schedules in collaboration with project management and support customer-facing project meetings.
- Administer the Product Data Management (PDM) system to ensure accuracy and control of engineering documentation.
- Partner with vendors, production, and service teams to troubleshoot, integrate, and improve designs.
- Establish and implement departmental initiatives, best practices, and continuous improvement standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical design, CAD systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and engineering documentation.
- Hands-on experience with automation systems, pneumatics, and basic electrical/controls design.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects from concept to release.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
