Position Summary:

Supervise a diverse team of Engineering Technicians that troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various Engineering equipment and engineering systems. Must be able to perform a wide variety of trade skills working in guestrooms and general maintenance throughout the hotel.

 

Essential Functions:

• At least 2 years of experience managing hotel engineering technicians or similar teams.
• Must be a able to manage and train room call techs, room renovation techs, and pool and spa techs
• Advanced skills in the following trades and/or one specialized skill: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen equipment repair, construction and pool/spa Engineering
• Responds to guest room calls as required
• Provides technical support to staff
• Maintains building systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, balancing chemicals, and maintaining water levels in hot tubs throughout the Stein Eriksen Lodge. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Repair or replace components as needed.
• Provides preventative Engineering to various equipment
• Assigned to various projects
• Maintains essential stock inventories

 

Other Responsibilities:

• Performs other related work as assigned
• Completes work order reports
• Must be able to lift, push & pull 50 pounds
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Interacts with front and back of house personnel
• Snow removal

Education, Experience, and skills preferred:

Four or more years experience in the trades listed above
