Job Description and OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician / CAD Drafter to join our engineering project team. In this role, you will assist in creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects, working closely with the project manager to bring concepts to life. This will include the development of work/process instructions for use on the manufacturing floor. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or enhance their career in drafting, design, and shop floor documentation support in manufacturingThis is a 1st Shift position, with shift hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Develop and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project requirements.Collaborate with project teams to develop schematics and mechanical designs that meet project specifications.Assist in the design and development of new equipment and processes.Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation.Provide technical support and training to team members on CAD software and best practices.Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews.Job Qualifications / RequirementsRequirement

High school diploma or GED is requiredProficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX; 3D is preferred.Familiarity with drafting techniques, construction processes, mechanical design principle, and GD&TStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.Basic understanding of 2D animation concepts is a plus.Solid technical writing skills to support the development of shop floor documentationA degree or coursework in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
