Drive operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security standards.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new tools and technologies for data operations.
Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and reliability of data systems.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or related roles
Experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
Proven experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse)
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with DataOps and DevOps for data (CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Background in agile methodologies and project management
Certification in Snowflake, Microsoft Azure or other relevant technologies
Experience with the design and development of reusable data models using star schemas and slowly changing dimensions, enabling self-service reporting across business units and reducing time to insight.
Development of comprehensive quality assurance testing frameworks for data pipelines, including unit tests, integration tests, and data validation rules with automated execution in CI/CD workflows.
