We’ll provide full training so you can safely operate state-of-the-art CNC machines, follow detailed instructions, and uphold our high standards of safety and quality. This is a night shift position with a 15% shift differential.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3 to 5-axis CNC machines, transforming raw materials into precision components by following detailed plans and instructions.

• Inspect your work using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators to ensure every part meets strict quality standards.

• Document your quality checks to keep our processes transparent and efficient.

• Embrace a safety-first mindset by following procedures and wearing the proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

• Keep your workspace clean and organized—your attention to detail helps maintain both quality and safety.

• Communicate and collaborate with teammates, sharing ideas and supporting continuous improvement.

• Assist with routine machine care and promptly report any issues.

• Engage in shift meetings and training sessions to grow your skills every day.

• Support a culture of respect, teamwork, and pride in your work.

• Take on additional tasks as needed—every day brings new opportunities to learn and contribute.

• Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S. Demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas and activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues. 

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.

• A genuine interest in manufacturing and hands-on work—no prior CNC experience required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know!

•  Must possess basic proficiency in operating computers, including navigating software and web-based platforms Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements accurately.

• Great attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute as part of a team.

• Interest in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is welcome.

• Experience with fragile materials like glass or silicon is a bonus, but not required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee regularly is required to lift up to 25 pounds.  The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
 
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.  The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.  The noise level in the environment is moderate.
