Field Technician-Entry Level
Mosquito Joe is a fast-growing, locally owned business and looking for an entry-level Pest Control/Field Technician in the Cartersville, Georgia area to join our team. If you’re an organized, motivated self-starter looking for a position that will offer you professional growth in a range of areas, this could be the ideal job for you!
About Us
Mosquito Joe provides outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial customers, eliminating and repelling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas. We have a unique and fun culture – and we want you to join us!

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must have some previous experience working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Previous experience in the following fields is a plus: general labor, physical labor, lawn care, lawn maintenance, etc.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must complete a background check prior to employment
- Must be able to carry and lift at least 60 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, at least 40 hours a week
- Must be available for regular scheduled shifts Monday-Friday and weekends as needed for rescheduling due to weather
- Must be available to work during black out periods (no PTO approved) [week before/after Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day)
