Please review the following job description:
Responsible for supporting the coordinated delivery of estate and trust administration. Provide support to Estate Advisors in the administration of Estate and Trusts for clients who have passed away. Collaborate with other members of the Wealth team (Advisors, Planners, etc.) to render an extraordinarily high level of service to our Wealth Clients and their beneficiaries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Assist the Estate Advisor in managing the death settlement duties, such as:
- Identify, collect and value all assets
- Settle all debts and expenses
- Distribute assets according to the terms of the governing documents Coordinate communication efforts with external parties such as heirs, attorneys and accountants
- Manage daily transactions and prepare receipts and disbursements
- Open and close of accounts
- Compile tax documents and information for the preparation of estate, fiduciary and final income tax returns.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

3+ years in the role as an Estate Support Specialist, trust experience, investment, banking or financial planning-related client service experience, or equivalent outside experience
Demonstrate an understanding of the operating systems unique to line of business, including trust and estate
Demonstrate strong knowledge of bank policy and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills
Contributes to a positive team environment that fosters cooperation, trust and incorporates the value of One Team approach
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exemplary customer service and professional etiquette skills
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
Trust School attendee or graduate
Fiduciary experience a plus
