Position Summary:We are currently seeking a part-time Front Office Customer Service Specialist with an energetic and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact, you’ll be a key player in conveying the mission, vision and culture of the practice to all of our clients!Key Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome clients and their pets in person and over the phone, bonding with each
Efficiently manage a high volume of appointments and messages on multiple platforms
Maintain accurate and organized client and patient records using the industry-leading Pulse veterinary software
Process payments with accuracy and attention to detail
Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and inviting
Communicate effectively between clients and the veterinary care team
- Provide compassionate, empathetic service in stressful or emotional situations
- Support the team with additional administrative duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in veterinary, medical, customer service, or hospitality industries preferred
Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while staying calm and professional
Energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor with excellent customer service instincts
Comfortable using computer systems and learning new technology, embracing change
Strong multitasking and time management abilities
A genuine love for animals and a desire to support their care
