A good partner of ours is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join their growing Accounting firm in Gaithersburg, MD.
This is a full-time, salaried, fully onsite position supporting senior leadership and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role requires strong administrative expertise, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while serving as a trusted partner to executives and internal teams.
Requirements & Duties
- Must have EA experience at an Accounting Firm
- Must have 2+ years of Executive Assistant experience
- The role is administrative in nature and supports both executive leadership and the administrative team. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Tax return assembly (paper and electronic, including SafeSend)
- Billing and invoice creation
- Calendar management
- Generating, editing, and creating reports
- Assisting with 1099 assemblies
- Preparing documents for mailing or delivery
- Assisting the administrative team lead with various projects and preparations
- In addition, this role will assist with front desk coverage as needed, including:
- Answering phones
- Creatin certified mail
- Creating FedEx labels and preparing packages for drop-off
- Checking in staff
- Managing front desk emails and requests
- Staff timesheet reporting to management
$50,000 - $60,000 a year
