Job Description

A good partner of ours is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join their growing Accounting firm in Gaithersburg, MD.
This is a full-time, salaried, fully onsite position supporting senior leadership and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role requires strong administrative expertise, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while serving as a trusted partner to executives and internal teams.

Requirements & Duties

    • Must have EA experience at an Accounting Firm
    • Must have 2+ years of Executive Assistant experience
    • The role is administrative in nature and supports both executive leadership and the administrative team. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Tax return assembly (paper and electronic, including SafeSend)
    • Billing and invoice creation
    • Calendar management
    • Generating, editing, and creating reports
    • Assisting with 1099 assemblies
    • Preparing documents for mailing or delivery
    • Assisting the administrative team lead with various projects and preparations
    • In addition, this role will assist with front desk coverage as needed, including:
    • Answering phones
    • Creatin certified mail
    • Creating FedEx labels and preparing packages for drop-off
    • Checking in staff
    • Managing front desk emails and requests
    • Staff timesheet reporting to management
$50,000 - $60,000 a year
