Location: Twin Falls, Idaho (must reside in the Magic Valley)Salary: Commensurate with experience, qualifications and agreed time commitmentReports to: Board of Directors (Executive Committee)Type: Part-time (an average of approximately 25 hours per week) with the potential to progress to a full time role based on need and the success of the role

We do this by cultivating collaboration among businesses, educators, faith groups, law enforcement, and local government to educate people on the value that all immigrants bring to our community.

Position Summary * * * *

We are looking for a visionary and creative leader to serve as the Executive Director of UASI—someone who can spark meaningful partnerships, bring bold ideas to life, and energize people across cultures and sectors.

As the face of the organization and its chief strategist, the Executive Director will guide programs, partnerships, and operations to amplify UASI’s mission and long-term impact.

Core Responsibilities

Vision & Strategy

  • Lead with clarity, purpose, and imagination—keeping UASI's purpose at the heart of all decisions

Community Engagement & Programming

  • Design and drive initiatives and events that inspire connection, understanding, and appreciation of the valuable role that immigrants in all forms play in our community.

Outreach & Communications

  • Be a visible, trusted and vocal ambassador for UASI—building bridges across communities, sectors, and platforms (media, events, digital presence).

Membership & Fundraising

  • Grow and sustain a strong membership base through personal engagement and creative fundraising strategies. *
  • Plan, oversee and manage the organization’s resources with diligence and transparency.

Operational Excellence * * * * *

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with smart, streamlined systems that support effective programming. * * *

Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and track record of success in nonprofit or mission-driven work, especially in program design, communications, and resource development.
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading and facilitating community-based or educational initiatives.
  • Strong public speaking, storytelling, and writing abilities.
  • The ideal candidate would also have experience and demonstrated success in fund raising strategies and execution, including grant writing capabilities.
