What You’ll Do: As a CMM Operator, you will be responsible for: Operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to inspect parts and assemblies for dimensional accuracy. Interpreting engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and specifications to ensure compliance. Running existing CMM programs and assisting with minor program adjustments when needed. Accurately recording, analyzing, and reporting inspection results. Identifying non-conforming parts and effectively communicating findings to quality and production teams. Performing routine machine verification and conducting basic maintenance checks. Maintaining inspection records in accordance with quality system requirements. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action efforts. Adhering to safety, quality, and company procedures at all times. What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: Proven experience operating CMM equipment (CNC). Strong working knowledge of GD&T and adeptness in blueprint reading. Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Basic computer skills, along with experience in quality software or inspection reporting. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
