Description
The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the School to support the health and well-being of children, staff, and families. This role is essential to maintaining a hygienic environment that aligns with licensing regulations, BrightStars quality standards, and best practices in early childhood education settings.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping work, preferably in a childcare, healthcare, or school setting.
Understanding of safe cleaning practices, including sanitation and infection control procedures.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety labels.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and be on feet for extended periods.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive attitude in a childcare environment.
Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by state childcare licensing.
