Dental Assistant

Location:

Orange Park - 5th Ave Dental

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at 5th Ave Dental. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that patients have a positive experience while assisting the dentist and hygienist with a variety of dental procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, sterilizing equipment, and providing top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide chair-side assistance during treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene care and post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following proper infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of prior dental assisting experience is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8am-5pm, Thursday: 10am-6pm
