You will also manage and mentor the divisional accounting team, driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies.
In addition to traditional accounting responsibilities, the Accounting Manager will provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, supporting various business units by preparing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. This requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.

Oversee the work of the divisional accounting staff, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and the accuracy of financial transactions
Support budget and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and collaborating with division leaders to develop realistic and achievable financial plans
Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by division management, focusing on key business metrics, profitability analysis, and operational performance
Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and external audit requirements
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to streamline accounting processes and ensure consistency across divisions
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification required
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
Experience working in a high-growth, private equity-owned organization
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to interpret and apply them in a corporate setting
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and the preparation of ad hoc financial reports for executive leadership
Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build complex financial models, perform data analysis, and manipulate large datasets
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Intellectually curious, proactive in learning about the business and understanding the needs of business partners
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving business needs
