Freddie Mac Multi-Family Division is looking for experienced individual full-stack developer to contribute to the applications that help in the company's mission.

Apply to join us, the Multi-Family BTO team! As a software engineer, you will be working in hands-on capacity on critical Freddie Mac Multi-Family Systems. You will be collaborating with project team that's comprised of likeminded full stack Agile software developers, all working together to enhance and modernize the capabilities of these systems. Our team is made up of versatile individuals who thrive in a challenging work environment and enjoy applying their problem-solving skills.

We work on the end-to-end delivery of software product design and development using full stack technologies. We contribute to the solution delivery. This individual would support the technology and tools changes/improvements on the delivery processes and collaboratively work with the other open minded, technology savvy and dedicated team members!

Your Impact

Develop full stack solutions using Java, Springboot and Angular. Work on the application development, bug fixes, security vulnerability fixes and production support. You will experience working with Agile scrum software development process and follow coding best practices to complete the assigned work.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of consistent hands-on working experience in Java, Springboot, Angular on large enterprise applications

  • Working knowledge of the typical multi-tier architectures (Front End, Back End, Database)

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Good communication skills both written and verbally

  • Experience collaborating in a matrixed environment

  • College Degree or equivalent; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred

  • Hands on experience with databases preferred, specifically with NoSql (e.g. MongoDB, Postgreql, etc.)

  • Sound knowledge of testing, specifically unit testing

  • Automated pipeline deployment experience in Jenkins preferred

  • Restful API / microservices development experience preferred

Keys to Success

  • Worked with other languages: node.js, Python, Transactional SQL queries

  • Previous testing Experience, such a Cypress Testing

  • Worked on high priority application with Modern Tools like Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git, Spinnaker

  • Cloud knowledge specifically with AWS

  • Other technology experience with EKS, Docker, or Openshift

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $103,000 - $155,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
