DASKK Hotels and Resorts is ready to open and looking for the right candidate. This candidate must be ready to be part of something special. This 154 suite hotel has completed a multi-million dollar renovation to become a boutique hotel that remembers that all customers are part of our family and puts their needs as a priority. If this sounds like you and you are ready to set yourself apart from others, we are ready for you to join our team. As a growing hospitality company, we are looking for an experienced Line Cook. To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience working in hotels to ensure our clients are treated like they are part of ours and your family.
Our ideal candidate must be a team player that is passionate about their work, willing to go above and beyond for our guests and embrace the concept of “all hands on deck”.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and other appropriate areas.
Ensure all food products are fresh
Store food and supplies in the proper storage areas.
Follow recipes properly to ensure accurate cooking.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Grill, cook, and fry foods
Complete orders from steam tables and placing the food on plates.
Perform food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches, carving meats, making soups or salads, and any other meal prep.
Stock pantry, walk-in, refrigerator/freezer with food items when orders are delivered.
Perform other related and unrelated tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous line cook experience required.
Occasional lifting and moving of boxes.
Occasional moving of heavy equipment.
Ability to be punctual and professional.

Physical Requirement:

Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
