Minimum rate of pay for this position is $36.10 per hour.


 

Job Summary

NEW GRADS WELCOME! Performs a variety of radiographic procedures and duties primarily in main radiology, under the direction of a qualified Physician, Operations Manager, and Diagnostic Clinical Supervisor, using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.


 

Qualifications

Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology required. Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Board required. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or become registered within 12 months of hire. CPR/BLS certification/training required. Must maintain minimum requirements for acquiring Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) as mandated by State and ARRT Guidelines.
