Pediatric Occupational Therapy Lead – Austin Area

Are you a licensed Physical Therapist passionate about pediatrics and looking to take the next step in your career? Amazing Care Home Health is hiring a salaried Pediatric Occupational Therapy Lead to support and grow our pediatric home health services in the Austin area.

Location: Austin, TX and nearby areas!
Job Type: Full-Time - Expand your caseload

Pay Type: Salaried with a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus

What You'll Do:

  • Provide in-home occupational therapy to pediatric patients
  • Help grow and manage a local caseload
  • Serve as the clinical lead and resource for the area
  • Collaborate with a team of therapists, families, and caregivers
  • Ensure high-quality, compassionate care for every child

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct pediatric therapy services in a home health setting 
  • Manage and grow a personal patient caseload 
  • Collaborate with the clinical director and recruiting team to expand the local therapy team 
  • Provide support, training, and mentorship to newly hired therapists 
  • Ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal policies and procedures 
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical development 
  • Transition into a team management/administrative role as the caseload and team grow 

Requirements

  • Current licensure in the state of Texas as an OT
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience, preferably in home health 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills or prior experience in a lead or supervisory role 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently 
  • Passion for working with children and their families 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience building or managing a therapy caseload/team 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus 
  • Knowledge of EMR systems and therapy documentation standards
