Description of the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Diesel Tech Apprentice to join our team at Classic Ford Lincoln - Columbia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in diesel technology while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior diesel technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Learn to use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines and automotive systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
