Starting wage is based on experience and shift. In addition to a base wage, every associate is eligible for quarterly profit sharing!! Various shifts are available and off shifts include additional shift differential pay.

Overview:
The primary function of the Facility Assistant II is to work with Facility Maintenance personnel to continue learning the skills needed to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on the facility and equipment at our Hebron, KY operation, while becoming more independent and taking on more roles and responsibilities.
The work is to be completed following all environmental and safety guidelines. The successful candidate must have a basic understanding of maintenance.
Knowledge and Responsibilities:
- Have an advanced knowledge of hand/power tools required for maintenance, as well as, how to use them.
- Possess basic mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Must be able to work independently on simple tasks (ex. air/coolant hose installation, daily rounds, manage coolant, small repairs, Facility items, etc.)
- Ability to use basic shop tools safely (ex. drill press, band saw, pipe threader, etc.)
- Must be able to safely operate PIV's to include forklifts, pallet jacks, WAVE, scrubber, etc.
- Must be available for overtime, different shifts and on call duties, as needed, to maintain production.
- Service Facility overhead lights to include changing bulbs and/or fixtures.
- Understand, observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations, including but not limited to, lockout/tagout and arc flash.
- Wearing proper safety equipment (PPE) such as, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety toe shoes/boots, etc.
- Work with and support the Environmental Safety and Compliance team.
- Assist where needed to perform all types of tasks to include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, painting and cleaning, to support the success of the business.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Component(s):
- Capable of standing and walking for entire shift.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping and climbing
- Capable of lifting items up to 40 lbs
- Capable of working from ladders and aerial lifts.
Skills Preferred but not required:
- Ability to use and maintain rigging and material handling equipment
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Certifications in Electrical and Plumbing
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
