Role Summary:

CUSIP Global Services is currently seeking a CGS Senior Production Assistant to join the CGS Customer Support team at our office in New York City. You should have a strong Customer Support / Billing background, demonstrate effective time management, enjoy solving problems,  and creating long term customer relationships.  The CGS Senior Production Assistant will work closely with the Data Operations, Governance, Collections and AR to ensure that all tasks are efficiently executed to ensure accurate revenue recognition.  This position reports directly to the Associate Director, CGS Customer Support.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the daily maintenance and the accurate invoicing, application and collection of all CUSIP Issuance fees as well as provide superior customer service to our client base.
  • Develop an understanding of CUSIP Issuance and the various asset classes.  Develop an understanding of the SCORE database and how it feeds information to Workday as this position is responsible for the accurate invoicing of CUSIP number assignments and all related customer service tasks (split/combine/void/credit rebill).
  • Work closely with the FactSet Finance group.  Research the Unidentified Cash list to locate CUSIP payments (wire, check and credit card) that have been received without invoice application details.
  • Determine and initiate actions required to quickly resolve customers’ inquiries received via email and telephone.
  • Account Reconciliation – document all transactions in Excel for an account (invoices, payment, credit/debit memos), reconcile and provide information to client.
  • Develop a working knowledge of our OTC system including account look up, creating reports and reprinting invoices. 
  • Refunds – research, gain approval and provide the required documentation to the FactSet Finance Team to process the refund.
  • Assist with Audits – preform the related research and provide required documentation.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience specializing in customer service, order management, and related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in using Workday is a plus

Desired Skills:

  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when an issue should be escalated to management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while applying critical thinking beyond routine tasks
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, via phone and email.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and contracts

The salary amount for this position in NYC is $85,610

This is a bargaining unit position – NYC office only (hybrid: 2x/week)
