Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our General Surgery office team. As part of this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a smooth experience for patients throughout their surgical process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Document patient encounters as directed by the provider
- Escort/assist patients to exam rooms
- Take and record patient vitals
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Handle patient phone calls and communicate with other healthcare offices and facilities

Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA)
- Previous office experience preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is preferred
- Strong multitasking skills
- Must enjoy working with people and be a team player
- Knowledge of bariatric surgery is desired
