Job Summary:

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase enrollment, enhance brand awareness, and promote the mission and values of the school. This role plays a critical part in shaping the school's public image, building community partnerships, and ensuring consistent communication across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement an annual marketing and enrollment growth strategy aligned with the school's goals.

  • Analyze enrollment trends, competition, and market opportunities to inform campaigns.

  • Collaborate with school leadership to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment.

Enrollment & Community Outreach

  • Create and manage initiatives to attract and retain prospective families.

  • Organize and promote community events.

  • Foster relationships with local businesses, parent groups, and community organizations.

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee the school's website and social media platforms, ensuring content is current, engaging, and on-brand.

  • Develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, email campaigns, and newsletters.

  • Manage online reputation and parent reviews on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and Facebook.

  • Track website analytics and campaign performance to optimize marketing efforts.

Branding & Visual Identity

  • Maintain and elevate the school's visual identity across all media.

  • Coordinate design and production of branded items and promotional materials.

  • Ensure staff and school materials reflect brand guidelines.

Advertising & Media Relations

  • Plan and manage advertising campaigns (print, digital, radio, etc.).

  • Build relationships with local media and coordinate press releases or feature stories.

  • Monitor and manage marketing budget and vendor contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in education, early childhood, or service-based industries.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in social media platforms, Canva or Adobe Suite, and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).

  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital ad campaigns is a plus.

  • Passion for early childhood education and family engagement.

Salary Range: 50,000 - 60,000 per year

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, some occasional weekend / community events
