Job Description
Ferman Brandon Collision is introducing a new position focused on advanced diagnostics and repairs. The ADAS & Electrical Diagnostic Technician will specialize in the calibration and repair of modern vehicle safety and electrical systems. This role ensures vehicles are restored to manufacturer specifications and safety standards following repairs or replacements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations according to OEM procedures.
- Conduct airbag and SRS component diagnostics, repairs, and replacements.
- Handle dash and interior removals, including headliners, for access to wiring, sensors, and safety modules.
- Perform electrical system troubleshooting and repairs, including wiring harness repairs and connector replacements.
- Collaborate with collision and mechanical teams to ensure accurate system restoration.
- Maintain calibration tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair documentation.
- Follow all safety and manufacturer guidelines to ensure vehicle integrity and occupant safety.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in automotive electrical or diagnostic repair (collision or dealership environment preferred).
- Knowledge of ADAS systems, SRS components, and OEM calibration procedures.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform electrical testing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- I-CAR or OEM certification in ADAS or electrical repair (preferred but not required).
