As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HDD Crew Foreman to lead our team to continued success.

Position Overview:

The UG Foreman will oversee the daily operations of the underground crew, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role demands a hands-on leader with a passion for excellence and a drive to be the best in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and motivate the underground crew to achieve project goals and maintain the highest standard of quality.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the Manager of Underground Construction to plan, coordinate, and supervise all underground activities; ensuring quality and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, conducting daily safety briefings and inspections.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the proper maintenance, operation, and utilization of equipment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and report project progress, work with the team to overcome issues, and ensure work meets or exceeds company quality standards.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to crew members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional training.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience in HDD operations, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 and Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
