▶︎ Job Details ・Job Title: Field Service Engineer・Working Location: San Jose, CA・Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent ・Salary: DOE (70-80K per yr) + Full Benefit・Visa Support : No・Language: English▶︎Key ResponsibilitiesThis position focuses on installing, maintaining, and optimizing SMT automation equipment while resolving complex technical challenges to improve operational efficiency.Equipment Installation & Commissioning・Install, configure, and start up SMT automation systems across North America.・Perform system upgrades and custom modifications.Technical Support & Troubleshooting・Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, software, and process issues.・Provide onsite and remote support to minimize downtime.・Work with engineering teams on complex problems.Customer Training & Support・Train operators and maintenance staff.・Advise on process optimization and preventive maintenance.Documentation & Reporting・Collect and analyze data for troubleshooting and improvements.・Prepare clear service reports for customers and management.Collaboration & Communication・Serve as technical link between customers and engineering.・Explain technical info clearly to all stakeholders.

▶︎Required:

・Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) preferred.・Experience with SMT or automation equipment.・Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.・Able to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.・Familiar with Windows-based systems and basic networking.・Strong problem-solving and customer focus.・Works well independently and in teams.・Effective communicator.・Willing to travel up to 25%.
