Compensation includes a base salary of $44,700.00 - $67,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Dayton Daily News is seeking a dedicated and reliable Field Service Representative to support our distribution operations in the Dayton area. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our publications, maintaining high customer service standards, and supporting our network of independent contractor - newspaper carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Distribution Supervisor in:
Recruiting and managing independent contractors
Ensuring compliance with customer service standards and contract terms
Delivering newspapers to consumers and retailers to cover open routes
Managing newspaper flow from printer to carriers
Promoting positive customer service outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field and no degree.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Clean driving record required
Reliable transportation for field work
Willingness to work overnight hours
Compensation & Benefits:
Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 per mile for open route delivery
Training provided
Work Environment:
Based primarily at the Beavercreek distribution facility
Field work throughout the Dayton area
