Job Description
In this contingent resource assignment, you may participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Operational Accounting. You will review and analyze basic or tactical Operational Accounting assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You'll present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will provide information to client personnel in Operational Accounting. Location The primary location will be West Des Moines, Jordan Creek Campus, and a secondary location is Charlotte – CIC. Duration 12 months with potential to extend Interview 30 min teams call Introduction Join our team and contribute to a centralized supplier onboarding and enablement process, continually improving Supply Chain practices to ensure efficient and compliant procurement and payment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 2 years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing and PeopleSoft systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a self-starter. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Responsible for unique supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects and monitoring supplier mismatch reports to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies. Answer questions on processes to peers and managers as well as internal and external customers and troubleshoot escalated questions. Prioritize and complete escalations independently, report system defects, and complete requirements for enhancements to systems and processes. Analyze risks in processes and document procedures and training requirements to strengthen and improve performance. Work directly with suppliers to troubleshoot system modules. Manage system clean-up projects to maintain a system of record free from error. Ensure successful supplier onboarding for transacting in Ariba.
