Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and the board of directors.
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and nonprofit standards.
- Conduct financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
